Unconditional Worship
Daniel 3:17-18 KJV
[17] If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. [18] But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Sometimes, when walking in seasons of the unknown, can be a challenging experience. In these moments of trial, we must remember whose child we are. The struggle sometimes comes with knowing that God can do exceedingly, abundantly more than we can ask or think but that He chooses to remain silent. Sometimes, we have to be brutally honest with ourselves. There will be times when we go through a time of questioning and doubt. It is ok to question. The issue arises when we wallow in self-pity and stay there. We must learn to trust that He has everything in control and has a plan for our lives. When things are not going how we want them to go, we must acknowledge (yes, it is a choice that has to be made on our part) that the Lord is worthy to be praised even when things are not going our way.
Today's Prayer
Lord, I will worship You at all times. No matter what's going on in my life, I trust You. Even when I do not understand, I will walk in faith. You are faithful, and I will praise you forever in Jesus's name, amen.
